Every free slot for the next fortnight, live on the page. Same-day emergency slots are held back until eight each morning, so there is always something left.
Repeat prescriptions
Order a repeat in about a minute. We dispense within two working days and text you when it is on the shelf, so nobody makes a wasted trip.
Out of hours
Evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays are covered by our own vets from the Otley building. Not a call centre, and not an hour down the A65.

When it happens at two in the morning
One number, all night, every night. It rings in the building on Bondgate, and the person who picks it up is a vet with your animal's record open in front of them.
Registered clients only. If you are not with us yet and it is an emergency, ring anyway — we will not turn an animal away.

Ring first, always. Half of what people drive in for at midnight can be sorted out on the phone, and we would rather tell you that than have you out on the road.
- You ring the one number. Same number as the daytime line. It diverts automatically after six.
- A vet picks up, not a service. One of the five of us is on, from home or from the building.
- We decide together. If it can wait until morning we will say so and book you in first thing.
- If it cannot, we meet you at Bondgate. Twenty minutes, day or night. No drive to Leeds.

Alderbeck is owned by the four vets who work in it. There is nobody upstairs setting a target for how many bloods we run, and no head office deciding what we stock.

Ask for the one who knows your animal and you will get them. That is the whole point of keeping the list small, and it is why we close it when it is full.
